What crane mats are capable of

Crane mats also known as bogmats, are sturdy panels made of hardwood, in our case Beech and Oak European hardwood. They are used to create temporary roads, pathways or work platforms on unstable, soft or difficult surfaces. The main use of crane mats is to prevent damage to the subsoil and increase stability during (lifting) operations. They spread the pressure and thus minimise damage to the subsoil, while supporting heavy vehicles and distributing the load. Bog mats also offer improved accessibility on muddy, sandy or snowy sites and increase safety by providing a stable surface for operations and preventing damage to underground infrastructure.
