At CMI, Crane Mats Industries, we believe it’s important to take the right approach and do the right thing. That’s why we dived into the EUDR regulations.

EUDR stands for European Union Deforestation Regulation. This European regulation aims to regulate and reduce deforestation in Europe. The regulation obligates companies to verify that their products haven’t caused deforestation and that they’ve been produced legally. This makes the EUDR an important step in the fight against climate change and forest conservation.

Naturally, we feel this responsibility to combat deforestation with our products all too keenly. That’s why we’re seizing the opportunity to comply with these new requirements. We hope to be able to announce soon that we’re officially operating in accordance with the EUDR regulations.

We’ve also already transitioned to FSC wood, becoming the market leader in producing 100% FSC wooden crane mats.
