Germany is working hard to implement the energy transition. They are doing this by building a completely new DC high-voltage line network from north to south so that the energy grid can once again transmit enough electricity in the coming years.

with our temporary access roads
In order to be able to lay the high-voltage lines for the IPA A-Nord project safely and quickly, our bogmats are used as temporary access roads. The cables are pulled across the country and therefore also through less accessible, soft surfaces. By using our beech crane mats, the heavy machinery and equipment can easily reach the project to carry out the work.
Since the end of 2023, CMI (Crane Mat Industries) has been supplying thousands of mats per month to the IPA A-Nord project. These are all produced in the Netherlands at our production location in Lexmond. Our sister company Welex Logistik GmbH takes care of the transport of the bogmats.
