Crane mats for Germany’s energy transition
Crane Mats Industries is proud to support the IPA A-Nord project, a key initiative in Germany’s energy transition.
Because the energy supply in a number of years will have a different structure in nature and form than the current system, it will become much easier to store and transport energy. The latter is where the IPA A-Nord project revolves. Direct current high-voltage lines must be buried to relieve the current energy grid of the enormous amount of electricity that needs to be transported. To be able to lay these high-voltage lines safely and quickly, our crane mats are used as temporary access roads.
Since the end of last year we have been supplying thousands of crane mats per month. These crane mats are produced at our production location in the Netherlands and transported by our sister company Welex Logistik GmbH.
Thanks to the collaboration with our sister company, the lines are short and we can meet the high demands of this project, which requires us to deliver quickly and on time.
